Small Changes make a Big Difference - Walton Liverpool
Description
Is there somewhere in your local community that needs a creative solution to make it more useful - a pleasant place to pass the time of day, where families can catch up with each other , a place to make your own and a better place to be for others? Small changes can make a big difference!
If you have never taken part in a course before come along, bring your friends, meet new people and get involved. All you need is your ideas, a willingness to work together and to make a difference – and to be 19 years or older! You should be able to spend half a day a week for a six week course.
Artist Ailie Rutherford will lead the course and introduce you to lots of ways that artists, designers and architects have thought about and changed spaces and places for the better. You will then be able to work together to find a temporary ‘pop-up’ artistic and creative solution to your local environment and learn lots of new skills along the way.
If you would like to join in then sign up for this FREE six week course. Places are limited to 12 people so book NOW to make sure you have your place.
Developed jointly between City of Liverpool College Skills Centres and Tate Liverpool and co-designed with artist Ailie Rutherford.
Special instructions
Six week course starts 9th May; held every Friday 10.00-13.00 in Walton.
