WEA Summer School – The History of Astronomy

Description

Astronomy is the oldest of the sciences. From the early Greek observers to the Hubble and Keck Telescopes, we shall trace the path which leads us to our current understanding of our universe and the big contributors, such as the Greenwich Royal Observatory, Galileo, Halley, Newton, Herschel and Einstein…. and where next? This course will run over 3 weeks starting on Tuesday 9th June at 10am - 12pm.

Booking online gives the option to enrol and pay on line for Norwich Courses using our Regional Web site. Please use the link to access this facility - enrolonline.wea.org.uk/online/coursesearch.aspx We will not confirm that you have a place – the place is automatically booked on receipt of your cheque. We will inform you if there are no places available and will return your cheque (book early!)
