Visit to the William Morris Gallery Walthamstow from Norwich

Description

Morris’s mid-18th century boyhood home is a wonderful exhibition of his life and work, including wallpapers, fabrics, carpets and stained glass. After lunch at the gallery, we go on to Waltham Abbey Church and its attractive monastic remains. A fine example of Normal Building, Waltham Abbey was once a major site of pilgrimage.
