Singing Together
Description
We are celebrating singing all across the North West region throughout May and June because: • Singing is all about learning together. • Singing makes people feel happy and connected! And • Singing releases endorphins into your system and makes you feel energized and uplifted. • Singing gives the lungs a workout. • Singing tones abdominal and intercostal muscles and the diaphragm, and stimulates circulation. • Singing makes you breathe more deeply than many forms of strenuous exercise, so you take in more oxygen, improve aerobic capacity and experience a release of muscle tension as well. • People who sing are healthier than people who don’t. So we want to get the region singing together by showcasing all kinds of singing in 2014 to the general public. We also want to bring singers and choirs together to learn from each other and to be inspired. We’d like to bring singing to the people of the North West and help you make new connections and to reach those new people you might not on your own. Why not help us? If you’d like to get involved do get in touch!
