Description

A month-long exhibtion showcasing the results of Inspired by…, a national arts competition for adult learners. The exhibtion features over 110 new works of art and craft created by adult learners from across the UK and inspired by the collections of the V&A; South Kensington and the V&A; Museum of Childhood. The featured works have been selected from 441 entries by a panel of V&A; curators, and reflect a variety of media, from textiles, fashion and jewellery through to sculpture, ceramics, printmaking and painting. The exhibition is supported by the V&A; and the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE) and is part of national celebrations for Adult Learners’ Week 2014.
