How Mathematicians Think
Description
Study Day. A large part of modern mathematics concentrates on problems related to efficiency. Such problems are based on readily understandable concepts such as speed of delivery, prevention of congestion or convenience of access to storage. These concepts can be discussed without complicated arithmetic or algebra. This will enable us to consider several real examples of research topics of modern mathematics in a simple way. By considering the motivation and context of this research, I hope to present a general picture of how mathematicians conduct mathematical research today.
