Description
A recitation from memory, in the voices and languages of Brighton & Hove, of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948. Artist Monica Ross and her co-recitors* become a collective embodiment of the Declaration, transforming it into a riveting and poetic act of performance and witness.
To date more than 250 people have memorised and recited articles in 30 languages in 30 recitations in England, Germany and Ireland. If you would like to join Monica to learn and recite one or more of the Articles from the Declaration in your own language please email
