The Angle theatre is looking for first time playwrights from the local communities of Brent to submit to Be Discovered 2011. The aim is the find the very best of new talent from writers of all ages and backgrounds and to develop that talent for the stage. This year Angle is proud to be working in partnership with the prestigious Bush Theatre in Shepherd Bush where the winning plays will be presented in November as part of The Bush's winter season. To apply you can be anything from 18 to 80 and never have considered writing a play before. In connection with Brent Adult Learners Week, our Angle @ the Bush Roadshow will take place at 6.30pm in The Gallery at Willesden Green and is a way of coming to meet you and providing an opportunity for you: -to hear more about Be Discovered 2011 -meet the Angle team and ask questions -meet playwrights who have had their work produced at the Bush -meet Angles's previous winning writers -hear playwrights read from their work.
