Description

During World War 2 the weekly Hop was a feature of community life. Couple dances, e.g. the Palais Glide, Blackout, Quickstep, Waltz and fun dances like the Conga were the norm for family events. Why not put on your 40s glad rags (not compulsory!), and have a go. Please wear jazz pumps or comfortable, flexible low-heeled shoes. No partner or previous dance experience needed. Tea and biscuits as and when required!
